Mountain Valley Cluster

The New River Valley Kennel Club hosts an annual five-day AKC Conformation Show (All-Breed) in conjunction with the Roanoke Kennel Club and the James River Kennel Club under the banner of the Mountain Valley Cluster in Salem, VA. Entries close 2 1/2 weeks prior to the show.

Event Fees:

• Admission – FREE
• First entry of a dog unless otherwise specified – $32.00 USD
• Each additional entry of the same dog unless otherwise specified – $32.00 USD
• Puppy classes as first or as an additional entry – $27.00 USD
• Bred by exhibitor classes as first or as an additional entry – $32.00 USD
• Miscellaneous classes – $32.00 USD
• Junior showmanship – $11.00 USD
• Junior showmanship as an additional class – $6.00 USD
• 4–6 months – $16.00 USD

Eligibility

To compete in an American Kennel Club (AKC) Conformation event, your dog:

• Must be 6 months or older
• Must be in good health and up-to-date on standard vaccinations
• Must have American Kennel Club (AKC) Full Registration

In addition:

• Sterilized (spayed or neutered) dogs are ineligible to participate
• Females in season are eligible to participate
