About

The New River Valley Kennel Club (NRVKC) is an American Kennel Club (AKC) licensed, not-for-profit kennel club founded in 1976 over a shared dedication to the advancement purebred dogs and dog sports as well as a commitment to upholding the longstanding traditions of the American Kennel Club. We believe in the dissemination of knowledge on all aspects of purebred dogs, including training, breeding, exhibition, health and welfare.

Monthly Meeting

We cordially invite guests and prospective members to join us at any of our meetings from 7:00 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET on the second Tuesday of each month. Please contact us to confirm the meeting location prior to the meeting.

Take Route 406 Business East towards Christiansburg. Turn right at the light. Location is 0.1 mile past the Farm House on the right.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is comprised of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and three other persons all of whom shall be elected for one-year terms at the Club's annual meeting. General management of the Club's affairs is entrusted to the Board of Directors.
