Festival of the Dog

Every October, Blacksburg Parks and Recreation and New River Valley Kennel Club host the Festival of the Dog. This event includes demonstrations of dog sports, pet vendors, food trucks, a photo booth, games for owners and their dogs and a silent auction all benefiting the Blacksburg Dog Park.

For only $5.00 USD, your dog can participate in the following activities:

  • Canine Good Citizen Evaluations
  • Trick Dog Evaluations
  • Obstacle Course
  • Costume Contest & Games

Festival of the Dog is typically held at the following location:
